a new era for Fine food
Carved from the original bones of an 1880βs barn, Dixboro House features original timbers, dramatic gambrel-vaulted ceilings, and a historic stone fireplace with modern furniture and finishes. Our restaurant stands on a storied property that first welcomed guests in the 1920s as The Farm Cupboard, famous for its fried chicken dinners and later as The Lord Fox, an Ann Arbor landmark for more than 60 years. Led by James Beard nominated Executive Chef Partner Garrett Lipar, our approach to food is honest, clean, and bold, beautifully presented while honoring 100 years of restaurant history.
